Customizations

Customizations let you display different versions of your calendar - each with its own default view or preselected categories - while sharing the same event list.
Use them to embed tailored calendars on different pages or sections of your site - for example, one showing New York events in the Monthly view, and another showing Workshops in the Cards view.

Creating a Customization
  1. Go to the Customizations tab under the Install or Embed page in your calendar settings.
  2. Click Create Customization.
  3. Enter a name for your customization.
  4. Choose a Default view (Month, Week, Agenda, or Cards).
  5. Under Categories, select one or more preset filters from the categories previously created for this calendar
  6. Use the Lock toggle to hide a filter from visitors.
    • When locked, visitors will only see events matching the category selection, and won’t be able to change that category.
  7. Click OK to save.

Using Your Customization

Once created, you’ll see it listed under the Customizations tab.

To use it:

  1. Go to the Install tab.
  2. Select your customization from the dropdown.
  3. Copy the provided embed code and paste it into your website's HTML.

Each customization generates its own snippet or public URL - perfect for displaying filtered or localized versions of your events calendar anywhere on your site.
